Our LED kits are proudly made in the USA, using Philips LED chips and drivers. The 1000W retrofit includes (3) led light engines, 277 volt led drivers, cooling fan, special optics and custom mounting plate with directional turret for optimal lighting spread. Warranty is 10 years, 5 years on the LED driver; life expectancy is 100,000 hours for LED and fan, 80,000 for LED driver. Energy savings = 74%. And you will never have to replace a Ballast again.
The High Bay retrofit LED light engines have been approved by the Design Light Consortium (DLC), the standard in efficient lighting, and are often needed to qualify for incentive/rebate programs offered by many utility companies.
Installation is simple. In cases involving our retrofit kits to replace a 400W HID, we can normally use a screw-in type U bracket, if that is not possible a custom made plate will be made to fit the fixture. For the 1000W retrofit kit, the drivers are mounted on the back of the custom plate; all your electrician needs to do is bypass existing ballast and wire directly to the drivers.
With your help we will be able to provide a custom plate that will fit into the existing housing. To design the plate we will need some pictures of the fixture along with length and width measurements of the fixture and protective lens ( if you know the make and model; that will be helpful as well). In some cases, a fixture will need to be shipped to the Manufacturer to ensure a proper fit and function.
